Some couples just fit, and Christina and Patrick are one of those couples. Their Narragansett Brewery engagement session in Providence, RI was the perfect mix of relaxed fun, genuine laughter, and heartfelt connection. As a New England wedding photographer, I live for sessions that feel this authentic—and from the first click of the shutter, I knew this one would be special.
We spent the afternoon exploring the brewery together, and it truly felt like a photographer’s dream. One entire wall of the building opens up to the outside, turning the space into a giant softbox of glowing, diffused natural light. Add in the clean industrial aesthetic, bold colors, and Christina and Patrick’s effortless chemistry, and you’ve got a recipe for pure magic.
Even better? Christina and Patrick coordinated their outfits to match the brewery’s signature colors—a thoughtful touch that brought the whole session together in such a stylish, seamless way.
This location was more than just a cool backdrop—it was the perfect nod to their love story. Christina and Patrick first met at his family’s bar, where he was bartending and she was a regular. After many late-night conversations and laughs, Christina finally worked up the courage to make the first move with a kiss—and the rest is history!
Their proposal story is just as sweet. Christina had a feeling the question was coming but wasn’t sure when. After returning from a family trip to the Ice Castles in New Hampshire, they canceled dinner plans and had a quiet night at home. After tucking in their daughter Bella, Christina walked into their bedroom and found Patrick down on one knee. It was personal, spontaneous, and completely them. Of course, Bella immediately jumped into action to start planning the wedding.
These two are planning a February 2026 wedding at the Newport Marriott—a celebration that blends rustic charm and sea glass elegance. Think: live-edge wood rounds, brewery growlers from their travels, and soft, mismatched florals. It’s going to be so them—warm, emotional, and unforgettable.
They’ll be joined by their daughter Bella, who I cannot wait to meet! From everything I’ve heard, she’s full of personality—sass, sweetness, and a love for all things pink (plus a soft spot for touch-a-truck events!). She’s going to make the cutest flower girl. And their German Shepherd Keeva? She sounds like the perfect big sister and snuggle buddy.
This session reminded me just how perfect New England brewery engagement sessions can be. You get all the fun of an industrial, unique backdrop paired with warm, natural light and tons of personality. Plus, it’s a great way to tie in your story—especially if local breweries or laid-back weekends are part of your relationship.
Christina and Patrick, thank you for making this session so much fun. You brought your story, your style, and your joy—and I’m so excited to photograph your wedding next year. Until then, I’ll be counting down the days until I get to capture even more of your love (and finally meet sweet Bella in person!).
