Barker Tavern | Scituate Wedding | Christen & Ben

What a stunning day Christen and Ben had for their wedding.  They had both their ceremony and reception at the Barker Tavern in Scituate Massachusetts where Christen used to work.

Christen got ready at her childhood home with her favorite ladies. She shared an adorable first look with her father in front of a dogwood tree she had planted in their yard as a young child. (Note to self plant a dogwood tree with Scarlett in our yard – so beautiful!) Christen, her sister, and parents rode in style to the ceremony in a beautiful white vintage car. During the ceremony, Christen and Ben shared personalized vows and there wasn’t a dry eye in the room.  Later the happy newlyweds took the vintage car for a spin to the Scituate Lighthouse for photos. It was gorgeous! The sun was shining bright and there was just enough of a breeze to keep us from getting too hot!  After some amazing fun photos at the lighthouse and beautiful family photos back at the tavern’s garden, the reception began. After dinner Christen changed into a gorgeous red traditional Chinese wedding dress and the couple shared an emotional Chinese tea ceremony with their parents!
