A Sunny Cape Cod Celebration with Romantic Details, Corgi-Inspired Cocktails & a Full Moon Finish

Amanda and Matt’s Willowbend Cape Cod wedding in Mashpee, Massachusetts was a picture-perfect early fall day — filled with golden sunshine, deep wine tones, nonstop dancing, and heartfelt personal touches that made the celebration feel completely them.

These two are the kind of couple everyone wants to be around — fun-loving, easygoing, always ready for a good time, and absolutely head over heels for each other. Their big day was joyful from start to finish, with an unforgettable party to top it all off. (And yes — we even got a full moon for some of their just-married photos )

Getting Ready at Willowbend’s Stunning Suites

One of my favorite parts of photographing weddings at Willowbend is the beautiful, light-filled getting ready spaces. Amanda and Matt had suites just steps away from each other, making it so easy to move between them and capture every emotional moment — from tie adjustments and whiskey toasts to joyful laughter with the bridesmaids.

Amanda looked absolutely stunning in her gown — and even better, it featured a removable train, giving her two completely different looks without needing a bustle. It was the perfect transformation into a sleek, chic reception style!

A First Look with Time to Soak It All In

Amanda and Matt shared a first look before the ceremony, and it was one of the most heartfelt moments of the day. It gave them time to connect, shake off the nerves, and just be together before the whirlwind began.

Because they saw each other early, we were able to explore Willowbend’s gorgeous grounds for relaxed couple portraits and fun wedding party photos — all in that dreamy Cape Cod light.

An Outdoor Ceremony Full of Sunshine and Smiles

Their outdoor ceremony took place on Willowbend’s lush lawn, bathed in golden sunlight and framed by beautiful florals. The air was crisp and warm — the kind of day where everything just feels right.

With elegant florals, panoramic views, and so much love in the air, Amanda and Matt’s ceremony was full of meaningful moments and joyful smiles. The connection between them was undeniable, and their vows were witnessed by the people who love them most.

Corgi-Inspired Cocktails & Deep Wine Tones for the Win

While their adorable Corgi couldn’t make it in person, he absolutely stole the show with his cameo on their signature cocktail sign and custom bowtie drink stirrers. Such a fun, personal touch — and guests loved it!

Their color palette featured rich deep wine tones, perfect for the season, carried throughout the day with florals and purple uplighting on the dance floor. It created a cohesive, elegant aesthetic that tied the celebration together beautifully.

Golden Hour Glow & a Full Moon Finale

After the ceremony and a little time with guests, we stepped out for golden hour portraits, taking full advantage of the soft light and scenic views Willowbend offers.

And just when we thought the day couldn’t get more magical… the full moon rose over the horizon. We captured one last just-married portrait under the moonlight — a peaceful, romantic moment that felt like the perfect close to their wedding day story.

The Party That Didn’t Quit

Inside the Willowbend ballroom, the celebration continued with heartfelt speeches, incredible energy, and a dance floor that never emptied. Amanda and Matt’s guests came ready to party — and they delivered!

From the elegant decor to the nonstop dancing, the reception was pure joy. It was the kind of night no one wanted to end.
