Best Cape Cod Wedding Venues

With it’s breathtaking coastline, delicious seafood, quaint towns and just over all relaxing atmosphere, Cape Cod truly has it all! There are so many stunning spots to tie the knot, with plenty of photo opportunities wherever you look. I’ve had the privilege of photographing several weddings on Cape Cod at various venues.

If you’re considering getting married on Cape Cod but aren’t sure about where to choose, here are some breathtaking Cape Cod wedding venues options that I know you’ll fall in love with. Trust me, it was challenging for me to narrow it down to just 10!

1. Bourne Farm 

Bourne Farm is one of my favorite Cape Cod wedding venues. You can really make it into whatever your heart desires! From bring in food trucks, antique furniture, golf carts, yard games this beautiful outdoor tented wedding venue in Falmouth, MA is your blank canvas. To create the wedding day of your dreams and make it reflect your personality as a couple!

If you’re not sure whether you want the beachy feel or more rustic, country back yard wedding, this is the perfect combination of the two. You can get the farm feel for your day while only being minutes away from the beach, so you can head over for some seaside formal photos.

2. Nauticus Marina

The Nauticus Marina in Osterville, MA is the perfect classic backdrop for you Cape Cod wedding. If there was ever a wedding venue that screamed Cape Cod, this is it! You literally have your own lighthouse for your wedding day! The lighthouse serves as an absolutely iconic backdrop for your wedding photos. If you’re looking for nautical-inspired photos, there is an amazing spiral staircase in the lighthouse as well as stunning views from the docks.

3. New Seabury’s Country Club & The Popponesset Inn

These two Cape Cod wedding venues are part of the New Seabury wedding venue group. Their wedding team is the best and will ensure your day runs flawlessly!

The Popponesset Inn is perfect if you’re looking for that laid-back feel. This wedding venue is a gorgeous, white-tented venue located right on a private beach. So no worries about beachgoers on your mid-summer wedding day.

New Seabury’s Country Club is the other beautiful wedding venue in the group, The club is a more formal, elegant wedding venue with a stunning ballroom with gold accents. The club has impressive views of the golf course overlooking the water. As a photographer, I love that you don’t need to take a step to get two totally different backdrops! If you look one way, you see the lush greens of the course and just turn around to see Nantucket’s Sound! What is not to love about that!

Also, with both of these venues being part of a private community, you can rent a beautiful house to get ready in and stay for the weekend…Or roll right in to your honeymoon and stay the week? 🙂

4.Willowbend

Willowbend is a golf course venue based in Mashpee, MA, perfect for any golf-loving couple. They have a beautiful and light grand ballroom overlooking the course, and the sunset view is stunning there! Can you imagine walking down a gorgeous stone staircase to your ceremony on the green with the love of your life and all your family and friends watching—what a dream, right! If it rains, no worries! They’ve got you covered, literally! You can still get married outside under their beautiful covered patio.

As it’s part of a private community, there’s plenty of space for all your guests to stay the night and you can get ready in their villa bridal suites. I love these suites for getting ready images! I love them so much that I often bring my couples back for a few couple formals as well! They are that good! Photo opportunities are endless. 

5. Highfield Hall

The Highfield Hall in Falmouth, MA is a hidden gem that will make you feel like you are in a fairytale! It’s not your typical Cape Cod wedding venue, but it’s nothing short of amazing! This historic mansion with gardens are the most whimsical wedding backdrop you’ll ever experience. The lush gardens and the forest trails are nothing short of spectacular!

The ceremony space has a breathtaking long flowered path guiding you down to your ceremony and the grand staircase is the perfect spot for a first look that will make you feel like a princess. 

6. Wychmere Beach Club

When thinking of  top Cape Cod wedding venues the first venue that comes to my mind is Wychmere! I just love it! It truly is a masterpiece! If your looking for an elegant, light and airy beach wedding venue then, look no further! Wychmere is the wedding venue for you! There really isn’t a bad view in site! This private beach wedding venue located in Harwich Port, MA will certainly make your jaw drop (I mean like to the floor!) You have the choice of a beach ceremony, or a ceremony on the dockside green garden overlooking the water.

For your reception, there are three drop-dead gorgeous ballrooms which are all equally incredible! My personal favorite is the Harbor Room. There are overnight accommodations available for you and your guests; you can also get ready on site. Who doesn’t love an all in one wedding venue, right? This is truly one of my favorite places to photograph so I’d 100% recommend adding this one to your venue tour list!

7. Coonamessett Inn

The Coonamessett Inn is another beautiful wedding venue in Falmouth, MA. At The Coonamessett Inn, you can host everything from your rehearsal dinner to the morning-after breakfast! A few years back, they updated their hotel rooms, which are just stunning. With the gorgeous light and airy feel throughout the bridal suite, it provides the perfect backdrop for your getting ready photos! And can we talk about the hardwood floors and massive floor-to-ceiling windows in the ballroom? Just gorgeous! They have a gazebo in the garden, which makes for a beautiful ceremony space. Plus, with the Coonamessett Inn being just minutes from the beach, you could take a little trip for formal photos by the sea too!

8. The Cape Club

The Cape Club in Falmouth, MA is a Cape Cod wedding venue that your guests will rave about. This bright and airy wedding venue features a cool, circular room right off the ballroom for your dance floor, which also has a stunning crystal chandelier. If golf is your thing, you can play a round before your big day, too!

9. Pelham House Resort

Why have a wedding day when you can have a whole weekend? The Pelham House Resort in Dennis Port, MA is a private beach venue where you can stay the weekend. Everything you need in this venue is right on site. They have breathtaking sunsets, a private beach, and a fire pit in the middle of the pool for your cocktail after-party! How cool is that?

10.Chatham’s Bars Inn

Last, but certainly not least, is the  Chatham Bars Inn in Chatham, MA. This private beach venue has a unique charm like no other. Everywhere you look, there is a picture-perfect view. From the breathtaking ocean views to the stunning gardens, your photo backdrops are endless.
