Covid-19 may have made Jillian and Brian change their wedding plans but they weren’t going to let it or the threat of tropical storm Fay, stop them from tying the knot. They were ready to be married and nothing was going to get in the way of that! Nothing! We had been watching the weather all week with our fingers crossed that it would turn around for them and man did it! That’s New England weather for ya! You never know what you are going to get.
This past Saturday the sun was shining bright and the wind was blowing just enough to make Jillian’s long veil fly in the breeze. The newlyweds shared a sweet first look on the dock before heading over to Chapoquoit Beach and West Falmouth Market (where Jillian and Brian met) for a few photos. We also got to take some fun photos with Jillian’s father’s gorgeous red convertible by the beach too. It was awesome!
They had a micro wedding with the ceremony on the upper deck of their beautiful family home, in Falmouth Massachusetts, overlooking the water with their closest family and friends as witnesses. After the ceremony, they celebrated with refreshing drinks, delicious food, laughs, and some awesome karaoke.
Jillian wore a stunning one of a kind wedding dress that her seamstress made from her vision of her dream dress. The dress was an A-line gown with a lace sweetheart cut top. She wore comfy navy suede heels and pearl earrings. Brian wore a navy suit with a silver tie with navy polka dots and brown leather shoes. At the end of the night, Jillian changed into an adorable white romper.
I have known Jillian since my days at Ghelfi’s, a little candy store in Falmouth. We worked there together growing up. I’ve always known her as a quiet beautiful girl with a kind heart. After meeting Brian at their engagement session I could tell right away that they were the perfect pair. They are both such calm, kind and caring people. And I am beyond happy for them!!
Congrats to the newest Mr and Mrs! I can’t wait to see what life has in store for you next!
Love,Ali
