Nobska Lighthouse Engagement Session | Katie and Erik

For Katie and Erik’s engagement shoot, we planned an early Sunday morning session overlooking the water at Nobska Lighthouse in Falmouth Massachusetts. The light was beautiful and I could tell before I even clicked my shutter for the first time that these two were going to be fun to photograph. Although I had never met Erik, I have known Katie for years from working at Ghelfi’s Candies together growing up. She has always been the kind of person that you can’t help but love. Her laugh is infectious and she has such a bright spirit inside her which Erik just brightens even more!

When we got to Nobska Lighthouse we noticed right away that it was under construction and that we were going to have to be creative! We photographed down by the water and on the rocks with the lighthouse in the background but too far away to see any caution tape! Then headed over to the Knob for some trail photos and ended the session with a playful water fight! It was adorable!

Katie and Erik dressed in a nautical theme with Katie in a long backless navy dress and Erik in a light blue and white pinstripe shirt with navy shorts. And barefoot for most of the session of course!

To say I am excited for Katie and Erik’s wedding next year at Woods Hole Golf Club in Woods Hole, MA would be an understatement.
