Newport, Rhode Island Wedding Day

Emily and Gage’s Newport, Rhode Island wedding day was a rainy one, but that didn’t bother them one bit! We used the stunning backdrops inside the St. Josephs Catholic Church for their family and wedding party portraits and their reception venue, the Marriott Hotel, Newport, RI for some gorgeous couple photos! The wedding was elegant and classic, with light sky blue bridesmaid dresses and white flowers on the ladies side, and black tuxes with bowties for the groom and his groomsmen.

Emily and Gage are two very determined, hard working people with kind hearts. On their rainy wedding day, the only thing they were worried about was how everyone else was feeling and making sure they had everything their family and guests needed. The newlyweds were always checking to make sure that everyone was drinking enough water! So sweet. That’s the doctor in them! Can’t help but take care of others.

Unique Wedding Reception Idea

Their DJ, Lime Light Entertainment, had interviewed the couple before the big day and made a funny and sweet video to introduce the couple into their Newport Marriott Hotel Wedding reception. This is something I had never seen before and it was amazing – we were all cracking up and it really got the party started! If you are looking for something fun and unique for your wedding reception, make a video of someone interviewing both you and your partner together (and separately) and make a hilarious video to share at the start of your celebration. Or better yet, hire Lime Light to make it for you! You will not regret it! I promise!!
